Plays are chosen from across a range of different styles and periods, including
drama and comedy,
The course culminates in a work-in-progress performance, using basic elements of
lighting, sound, costumes and props.
Our long-running acting course in which we rehearse
scenes from a wide range of published plays, culminating in a work-in-progress performance!
- Exploring how to build characters through bold, imaginative, physical choices.
- Understanding the character’s actions and objectives
- Learning how to deliver text physically, using
a variety of rhythms and dynamics in the voice and body. - Confident, expressive delivery of text
- Vocal projection, practice in bringing out the full range of your voice
- Bringing emotional reality to the events of the play.
- Memorising lines
- Learning to release your imagination
- Reducing self-consciousness, reducing nerves, increasing pleasure in performance!

reduction in some circumstances,
or agree staged payments.
Bursary Scheme
Actors Training Studio offers a unique bursary scheme, whereby one student is reimbursed a percentage of their fee at the conclusion of each course..
