Bursary Scheme Actors Training Studio offers a unique bursary scheme, whereby one student is reimbursed their whole fee at the conclusion of each course. Minimum enrolment: 12

TRAINING OBJECTIVES - develop through performance!
At Actors Training Studio we believe that nothing progresses an actor more thoroughly than live performance. Whether you are a complete beginner or have some experience, the challenge of bringing your work to life in front of even a tiny audience while learning to cope with performance nerves, develops performance skills and builds self-confidence like nothing else.
This course is suitable for complete beginners or those returning to acting after a long break who would like to brush up their skills. Participants will gain most from the course when they are able to do a certain amount of preparation in between sessions.

Drama games & technical exercises Improvisation on text
Rehearsal of scenes from famous plays
Final performance of work-in-progress for family & friends
Characters: Exploring how to develop characters through bold, imaginative, physical choices.
Stanislavski: Understanding the character’s actions and objectives
Physicality & Voice Learning how to deliver text physically, using a variety of rhythms and dynamics in the voice and body.
Emotional Truth Bringing emotional reality to the events of the play, acting from within,
Saturday AM Technical exercises rehearsal of monologues
Saturday PM Rehearsal of duologue scenes in pairs Sunday AM Improvisation Rehearsed reading of a famous play(4 weeks)
